More good news about spelling with Sam! People learning to spell to communicate need a trained communication/regulation partner (CRP) to help keep their sensory system balanced, verbally prompt, praise, hold the boards in the same place each time, write lessons, ask questions, quickly pick up and put down the boards, etc. Sam has a professional teacher and main CRP, and a few months ago, Lisa started getting trained as a CRP and she and Sam have come so far!! Yesterday Lisa brought over a delightful lesson about apple pie (Sam's favorite spelling treat) and he spelled all these fun words! Thanks, Lisa!
